Terrible service. left with a hole in the back of my house by a rude installer who stormed out without doing his job. The communication from this company is terrible. Install date was yesterday. Installer rocks up at 11am the only communication was a text to the wrong phone number half an hour before. Then he arrives is rude and unhelpful to my really nice builder and when my builder said that he (my builder) needed to call me so I could book an online parking ticket. (The only way to do parking tickets in this area) he said I can;t be ***** with this and stormed out and drove off. I then spent the entire day trying (and failing) to contact someone who could help at the head office and everyone I spoke to just said the only person I could speak to was in meetings. I am a solo full time working mother with a vulnerable adopted child with trauma issues and this company who takes full payment upfront just left us with a hole in the back of the house with absolutely no follow up. I am so angry. I am still none the wiser what is happening next. But due to this I am having flooring installed this afternoon which needs 5 days to dry. So this company has left my vulnerable child in an even more vulnerable situation for a least 5 days. Shameful. I am still trying to contact them now. So if you are reading this I need an installer on site (preferable not yesterdays) at 8am this morning.
Update 3 months later - Still not had the issues resolved around the large gaps and now the handle has sheared off! And terrible service. So fed up with waiting on the phone listening to their waiting music.

I contacted to arrange a service for 10 year old FSD bifold doors. Initially difficult to get through but once I did, my query was dealt with swiftly and efficiently by Jane - Many thanks.
Update 6.11.23: Prompt, efficient service completed today. Very happy with results and nearly as good as new.

I placed an order for £50000 worth of triple glazed windows and bifold doors over 2 years ago. The windows have been installed so poorly that not one window works properly. I have been trying to get the windows fixed for over 12 months now. Some of the windows have no handles others need to keep shut by screwing blocks of wood against the frames as the mechanisms are faulty. Customer Service seem incapable if doing anything but offering platitudes and promises of action. I now have a new house i can't live in because building control won't sign the work off. These guys are a SCAM stay well away from them. Other Trust pilot reviews attest to similar issues sufferrd by other clients. Easily the worst window instal ive ever experienced 1 star is way too much for this company

Brilliant company to deal with.
We purchased two big olds back in 2015, installed early 2016. Installation was quick, efficient and the doors as fantastic.
Over the years I have called them twice. Once during Covid and they sent me the replacement part we need immediately.
I called them out recently to check our outside door, one we use the most. Minor issues with opening. Brush has come off etc.
From arranging the appointment to coming to sort the door out communication was great.
Door was fixed in no time with a couple of adjustments.
The lads that came on both occasions were fantastic. Kyle and Jack came on this visit. Kyle I remembered from the install. All engineers I have seen from here are hard working. Customer focussed. Friendly. Tidy. A credit to any company.
The customer services team in the background are also lovely. Nothing is too much trouble.
Keep up the good work all round.
From ordering this company have been absolutely great. Thank you all.

We were really dissappointed at the poor customer service and communication.
At this very moment, we have a £4000 folding sliding door which weve paid for and which has been sitting in our living room for 10 days and no idea if anyone plans to come to fit it.
We scheduled a date and time to fit it (we had to call to arrange). We were told someone would call on the day to say when they'd expect to arrive. I called a few times on the day for a vague idea so I could plan my work and was fobbed off. Eventually called back in the afternoon and told it wouldn't be that same day and they didn't know when they'd reschedule it. I complained and was called back and told it would be early on Saturday.
Saturday morning comes, we all get up early, by lunch time still no phonecall or engineers. I phoned and there's no answer. Emailed and left messages but no one works at weekend in the office.
I currently have a whole in the side of the house that we had prepared ready for fitting day, two sick children, a cold house and absolutely no idea if or when it will be covered up and I'll have my living room back. We're so dissappointed and I regret paying up front now.
Sales: 4/5
Engineers who came to do measure up: 4/5
Communications about installations and measuring up: 0/5
Delivery of window: 4/5
Quality of window: yet to be seen. Currently in my living room in pieces.

Fitted the Aluminium Bifolds into a 2.5 m opening in a new extension. Really solid quality. Am in the building trade and had numerous other options but a colleague mentioned that although a bit more pricy, when he fitted them, they went is with almost zero need to toe and heel so thought I would give them a try. Sales process was highly professional, Lady called Simone came over as very knowledgeable and competent. Units went in quickly, the quality of the components supplied excellent. One issue with packers in the main opening door incorrectly installed but within a week they had their installation team out and problem sorted. Although I understand that most installation issues will be down to the installer, a £300 up-front payment to send the team out is probably a bit too high. Suggest a 50% payment with a further 50% bill if indeed the problem is down to the installer. However, FSD company promised a refund in 14 days so OK. So as long as the refund arrives very, very impressed. Top quality product and top quality company. note in the photo they have just been installed, the protective film is still covering the frames!!

Amazing Company! Service was straight forward, I sent customer services photos of my doors and explained what the problem was with them. Within minutes a response I was excited as it's the first time since the install that a problem has occurred (This been in 2009). Moving on swiftly they called me advising that a service call was raised and they would be back in touch with a date, Sure enough a text message with a date to attend and a follow up call not long after. On to the engineer visit the guys were great brilliant banter and were quick and gone within the hour making sure certain parts were replaced and the doors operated as well as they did back in 2009. Can't recommend these guys enough, Unfortunately the lottery hasn't favored me all these years so I have just the one property however, should I ever get a small fortune or a big win I will be sure to buy a big mansion and have these guys install doors and windows all over the building. Thank you all for everything.

Customer service is appalling- they don't return phone calls and just fob you off. Doors are lovely but after we had a paid for them to measure them they were 5cm too short. They were installed and after weeks of asking for them to be remade as they were wrong they finally agreed. Now we've been told they are not ready yet and we have to wait again. Its holding up all our building work. We ordered in April and now they're saying they will be ready in Dec - appalling service

***UPDATE***
The customer service team was since able to find an engineer to visit today...a quick fix and problem solved. Changing the star review from 2 to 5 to reflect the service team taking the time to put things right and to Alex the engineer, very helpful and professional.

Good luck getting an engineer!
Bifold doors were installed in our house before we bought it and, after a few weeks of calls and forms, we were able to transfer the warranty to our names (25 Yr installation warranty, 10 Yr manufacturer warranty). Last year we needed the doors adjusted and after a number of calls and emails to customer services, an engineer was sent out... we were not expecting him on the day he arrived, no text etc, but luckily happened to be in. Very professional and pleasant engineer.
Last week the rubber on the door was coming loose causing the door to stick open, and after we looked closer it was apparent the root cause was that the door is loose and slipping down. Sent photos on Monday to the customer service team who were sympathetic on the phone and over email. Tuesday, no engineer available... Wednesday, nope... Thursday yes! Waited all day and at 4 pm got a call saying the engineer wouldn't be coming. I explained we cannot close/ lock the door, and this is a security risk and invalidates our home insurance, so can they please come today, Friday? Nope, has to be next Monday (no set time, could be any time of day, so we will have to wait in again). Was told on the phone they don't have enough engineers and we are not a priority. Will be cancelling our weekend plans as we can't leave the house open.
If they show up on Monday it will have been a week of not being able to secure the door, even though it is under warranty. Why offer a warranty if there the scale of the company can't honour it?

Don't buy the French Doors!! We've just had a really poor experience with this company, apart from the engineers that installed it initially and then helped fix all the issues - they were really nice and couldn't do enough to help.
Once installed we had 4 issues 1) Glass panel was scratched 2) Pillar was damaged 3) Top locking bolt too stiff 4) Excess movement in the door when closed. We asked a number of times to make sure the engineers were aware of all the faults before coming back so they could fix it all in one go. They fixed the first 3 faults but were not made aware of the excess movement so couldn't fix that. I was told on the phone that the excess movement is standard, there was a 3mm gap where the locking bolt fits into the bottom track making the doors excessively move when closed which after paying over £1700 you wouldn't expect (I understand there needs to be some movements otherwise the lock wouldn't fit into the track but not as much as it did!)
They explained that they could fit a metal piece underneath the track to stop the excess movement. This seemed a reasonable solution and they reassured me the metal fixing would fit underneath the track not on top. They were booked in to come a couple of weeks later but never turned up. Apparently it was booked with the installation director who doesn't do appointments. So I had to re-book for 2 weeks later and take another day off work which delayed it even more.
They sent me the metal fixings in the post and after looking at them I was concerned that the fixing would go on top of the track not underneath like they explained. I was reassured by them that it was meant for underneath and that it wouldn't effect the aesthetic look of the track. I asked for this to be put in email so when the engineers do arrive if there was any dispute I could show them the email. They checked and confirmed it would fit on top!! Very disappointing!
It seems as though they use the same track as they do for bi-fold doors which is why is causes this excess movement. If this company knows there is an issue with the French doors they should make customers aware of it and also include the metal fixing as standard so people are aware of what the finished product will look like. A poorly designed product that they are clearly cutting corners on. Overall a very stressful and really disappointing experience and suggest to avoid at all costs! This is no reflection of the installation guys, they were brilliant and couldn't do enough to help.
